Colouring-in for adults is a huge trend and a growing part of that trend is printable colouring-in greeting cards. If you haven’t come across them before, they are designs bought online as a digital file, which you download, print on thin card stock or paper, colour in, fold in half and write your message on the inside.
Do you love colouring in? Then you’ll love colouring in cards. And if you have kids, it’s a fun activity to get them involved, keep them busy or share an art activity together!
I love this idea! How lovely is it to personalise a card for loved ones and friends?! They will love receiving hand coloured artwork created by you!

If you’re like me, you’re going to love being able to access cards immediately from home, without rushing out to the shops and not waiting for deliveries. Once you’ve made the purchase you’ll get access to the files, download and print. So easy!
One of the things I love about these pre-designed cards is, there’s no stress in having to come up with ideas. The hard part, the design, has been created for you and you get to do the fun part, the colouring! You still make it your own, which means it’s an original : )

Printable cards can also be an economical way to give greetings cards. Buy one design and print as many times as you like. I’m sure you have noticed how expensive some cards have become. Even with the paper or card and ink, you’ll still come out ahead…unless you’re buying at the dollar store. But then they won’t be anywhere as nice : )
What’s great is that the same design can be used for many different people. By changing the colours and the medium used, the same design will look very different.
Try using pencils on some and markers, gel pens, sparkle pens etc on others. If you know the person’s favourite colours, tailor the card for them and use those in your creation.
When using markers on paper, they tend to seep through and are visible on the other side. To avoid seeing the marks, simply cut around the design and stick it to a piece of card.
Likewise, if you don’t wish to print on card or your printer does not accept card stock, cut out the coloured in paper and paste onto card stock.

When printing on card stock, be sure to check what gsm (how thick the card is) your printer accepts.
Show off the kids or your creative skills to give to family, friends, classmates, colleagues or special customers. They’ll love it!
